Day 1

• Introduction of make up tools

• Understanding of Contra Actions and Contra indications .

• Make up hygiene

• How to match and apply the foundation professional way demonstration on model

• Introduction of professional brushes and their use

• Creating registry , elegant looks using 2 colours

• Perfect blusher techniques

• Understanding lip shapes

• Eyelash application demonstration

• Eye liner demo (discussing different types of eyeliners and how to apply

Day 2

• How to consult the client (bridal trial), how to take bookings, how to talk over the phone.

• After care advice

• how to prepare yourself for your first client call

• Student will be preparing the foundation themselves from this day

• Creating 3 looks mehndi, party looks using 3 colours , insider blending techniques

• How to use different brushes for different sections of eyes,

• Contouring , face shaping , highlighting and shading

• Insider tips how to create certain looks with less effort (helpful hints)

• Multi use products

• How to work with glitters

Day 3

• How to set the prices, area, how to make business plan

• How does tax work

• Creating 3 more looks working with black colour (working with 3 to 4 colours )

• Blending blending blending

Day 4

• How to promote yourself, advertising, insider tips

• how to get insured

• Creating 3 looks including Arabic eyes , blending 4 tot 5 colours

• Getting ready for assessment on day 5

Day 5

• Demonstration of catwalk , photographic looks

• Demo lehnga , saari , bindi setting

• Assessment (student s have to produce bridal work ) jewellery can be provided

This course will demonstrate skills and techniques to create a flawless Asian bridal make-up look to suit every occasion. On this exciting and creative course you will be focusing on different colours used for modern and traditional looks. Most Asian brides wear red, therefore this course will demonstrate what colours complement the ‘red look’.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

• No previous experience required

• Make-up provided for class use

• You will require a set of professional make-up brushes

• The minimum age for entry to this course is 18 years – no exceptions. There is no upper age limit.

Students may bring their camera to keep the evidence of the finished look
